I like my MechTech '1911 upper' combined with my double-stack 1911 in 45 ACP. 20 round magazines feed well and only protrude a couple inches past the grip. Finally finished my 300blk build :) PSA 8in Nitride Upper: $250 PSA Magpul Lower: $160 KAK Blade/tube: $60 I was going to hold out for a better deal on the lower, but the magpul ACL lower was priced to sell and I could theoretically flip the stock on ebay for $70, mitigating the cost of the KAK blad...

Hmm...cleaning firearms as a business? That would likely boil down into the same legalities as a gunsmith. Most gunsmiths offer the clean and inspect service for a small fee anyhow. Near as I know gunsmiths and gun stores have to enter firearms into a bound book if kept over night. Basicaly meaning...

The serial number is way too high for a 99T. I don't have my reference books with me, but from memory the 99T serial numbers were from about 350,000 to 400,000. The 99T was never chambered in .308 (discontinued many years before the .308 appeared). My guess would be you have a Model 99F with a 22&q...
