Need advice on sole leather holster work.
Basically, my wife is wanting a new holster for her Kimber ultra carry and has settled on one. However, she is wanting her initials placed on the side. My first question is can it be done on a existing holster? Second, who would you recommend?

Re: Would this be a decent trade?
I have quite a few expensive shotguns that I use for trap, skeet and hunting. Howver, my favorite trap gun is a plain jane Winchester Model 12 (1926 vintage) in 12ga with a full choke 30in barrel. I paid a whopping $200 for it and I shoot my best with it. I can tell you that the 870 will get the job...

Are they worth it? In my opinion yes. I own 5 Randall's but have carried a model 15 in Iraq, Afghanistan and a few other places for years now. It's been the one that has never failed or never worn out. Granted, there are other fine knives out there but I have broken more than a few of them to includ...

It doesn't take much at all to build an AR with minimum specialty tools. You can't really screw up with exception of the tightness of the barrel. AK's, FAL's, M1A' etc can be built at home with ease. The problem is finding quality kits to do. Cheap AK and FAL kits dried up long ago.

Re: Question about 'AK' rifles - the real ones
The AK series rifles are closed bolt. The only open bolts these days on the modern battlefield are the belt feds. No matter with each you can still get a "cook off" with either design or have one fire out of battery. I have had more than my fair share of these with the M240, M249 and M60's...

Both are over priced especially the Colt. Unless you live in a ban state and can only buy a pre ban gun, keep looking. When it comes to AR's, 99% of the time you are paying a premium for the name on the side. Mil spec is mil spec. Colt is no different.

The winner (Mk 23) led to the USP/P2000/P30, so not all was lost, but you're right. 99% of these stay in an arms room somewhere, SEALs use Sigs, De...
