Re: Acceptable ammo for Marlin 1864 lever gun in .38 spl

I also shoot the Hornady 125 and 158 g XTP bullets, in 38 and 357. I just bought a Rossi 38/357 and have shot these bullets in both cartridge sizes with good results. Most of my reloads tend to be mild rather than wild, but I have shot about a dozen 158 g rounds at around 1900 fps with a 357 cartrid...

Re: New Member/New Rossi 357

It was suggested to me early on not to use wad cutters with the Rossi 92 copy . I 've been using round flat nose 158 gr lead , and sometimes simi jacketed . So far all is well . But like some others the main complaint is I just don't get to play as much as I'd like to. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mutt :D Inte...

Re: Rossi Parts

LSI Rossi Repair If you have an LSI Rossi Puma, then email Sports World (info@sportsworldtulsa.com) in Tulsa with your model no. (M92), s/n, name, address, and phone number along with the specific parts you want. They are the warranty repair group for LSI Rossi. In any case, I'd give them the exact...

Rossi Parts

I called Rossi in Miami this AM to check on some extra parts for my M92. Not in stock, and will not order for me. No idea if they will ever be available. Gave me a name and number in VA, M&M Gunsmithing. Anyone ever heard of them? I called and got an answering machine with an email address. I em...

Re: New Member/New Rossi 357

Just returned from the range with the Rossi. All in all I am pleased. The action functioned just fine with 357 and 38 Specials, either jacketed or lead bullets. The load gate is still stiff but I can tell it is getting better after about 75 rounds. The sights are only good for 38 loads and mild ones...

Re: New Member/New Rossi 357

Welcome aboard, Newt. Several of us here from RFC, it is indeed a great board. What barrel length is your .357 and where did you get it? I picked it up earlier this afternoon. :D I got the .38/.357 with 20" round barrel in blue. Actually a VERY deep blue/black that looks black. I am very pleas...

New Member/New Rossi 357

I ordered a Rossi 92 in .357 a week ago and hopefully it will be here today. I also have a Henry H001T and a Winchester 94 Golden Spike edition in 30-30. I am a 27 year Navy Vet, now 67, and have relearned the fun of shooting and reloading after a many year hiatius from the late 60's and early 70's....
