I have the same gun in 22 mag and it is a splendid shooter as well. I really like the Hornady 33 gr loads in the 22 mag. They group consistantly under 1/2 inch at 50 yards for me.

OK, I went to Gander Mtn and got the Weaver base for the T?C Encore. Cut about 3/4 " off the back and removed some metal from the bottom, tapered toward the front (the round bottom that rests against the barrel.). It fits good, looks a little more level than it did at first, and the screws fit...

I had to remove the rear buckhorn sight on my 92 so the Marbles Tang Sight would work better. Discovered the 4 screw holes. What are they used for?

If the old stock is unusable and has no further value or use, cut it out with a saber saw/band saw. Then a knife and or chisel will finish wood removal down to the medallion without damaging, but be careful.

I am pretty sure they are 3/8" dovetail fitting. Midway has lots of sights available from all the key players. Might even have a specific replacement for the factory origonal. I would estimate a .4 height to start of with.

So my suggestion is not to fire fifty rounds in quick succession in your FA revolver with Lil'Gun.
Makes perfect sense to me. That was one of the "articles" I had read.

The Rossi 92 on the bottom is my latest purchase. The Winchester was a gift that belonged to an uncle who was a RR man.
Both shoot well. Steve Jones' dvd helped a lot and she has a reasonable trigger now. Will probably tweak it some more as time goes by.
