If you convert it you ruin the value of the rifle. Use the internet and search for bullets. I will bet you find some good bullets out their somewhere.

Must be made in India, just box it up and I will take care of it. Sounds interesting but if it were Japanese there would be proof marks and such all over it. I wonder if it is Brazilian? If it were Italian it should have plenty of markings too. Please post fotos.......

If your 1895 were an old originol I would agree that the pressures could be a problem. The modern made 1895 is a different story. You can be sure that, due to legal problems, your modern rifle with its modern steel can handle the job. I would definetly call the gunsmith that installed the barrel to ...

The CZ 550FS liked my first reload, a nosler 286gr w/50.0gr of IMR-4064, Fed LR primer, real well. Right at 1" at 100 yards with my Leopold VX-R 2-7 Firedot scope. Was lucky enough to get a shot at a doe at 86yards, verified by my Simmons rangefinder. One shot, One Doe. Didn't even take a step ...

I shoot a modern Winchester 94 and a modern Sharps in 38-55. For a 260gr FNGC bullet I use 30.0gr of H-4198. I got the data off LoadData.com, and both rifles like it and their is no pressure signs. It is an accurate load, and the deer are very unhappy with it.

My rifle is coming with two boxes of Norma Vulcan 286gr bullets. From what I have read the 286gr is the most popular loading. I hope to deer hunt with it next weekend. Everything I reads points to one heck of an effective caliber. I hope you enjoy yours, as well as I hope to enjoy mine.

Most all of the 6.5 millimeter bullets seem to fly true and kill what they hit. I have three 6.5 Grendle's, two 6.5x55 Sweds, and a 6.5x284 for my "long range" necessities. The sectional density is excellent and they fly pretty flat too.

Military doctrine is to "wound" not kill, as it takes more enemy support personnel to take care of the their wounded than it does the dead. That said, the 5.56 is a f**kin' ground squirrel rifle. It was developed for the Air Force flight line cops, with the idea that that caliber would NOT...

Personally, I like the 6.5mm bullet in whatever it is shot in. All my 6.5's take game effectively, usually on the 1st shoot. I have both the 6.5 Grendle and the 6.8 SPC. If I want to reach out and touch someone (or something) my hand reaches out for the Grendle.
