For me having that old Redfield on the 94 would increase the value & i dont have a problem
putting a sling on the swivels, the Redfield is maybe 50s? not sure but i do have a few of them

My favorite 6 gun is hands down my old 3 screw Ruger in 357, 2nd is a older Vaquero in 45 colt & then
a little Vaquero in 32 H&R, i have others but these are the 3 i like the best

Most likely i carry a sp 101 in 357 more often, across the road from me now there is about 80 bulls
they have been out a few times lately so the 454 gets packed around, maybe im a bit spooky when the

I have a Savage 99E in 243 that shoots like a custom bolt gun, it shoots a ragged hole at 100yd. never have put it on paper at 200 yd. but prairie dogs out too 300 yd. is no problem, coyotes if standing out to 400 most of the time take a deadly hit, prairie dogs are a small target & a bit of win...

I to like a bit more lenght on a gun & a cresent style stock fits me poorly so ive added a pad a few times

Thats some good shooting Ted! never have figured out why that cartridge isnt wildly pouplar?
have a 250 in a Ruger RSI & i can tell you the 75 gr. hp will flatten a coyote, where the 223 gets very weak
past 300 yards, my 243 in a 99 Savage with 58 gr. V max gets it done also

I use it all the time for rifle or hand gun, plain base or gas check, use the lee sizer also for seating g.c.
i warm the LLA & then warm the bullets with a hair dryer & then tumble lube them
befor sizeing i use a bit of LlA

In the past nearly 60 years ive had many 22 hand guns, use to trap & ran hounds for coon, all i ever used was a 22 revolver. now a 22 is seldom used but the High Standard double nine is my favorite for the past 30 years very easy to load ( for a 22) & very easy to schuck the emptys ollogger

kind of thought that big 50 would go through a gopher, a 300 H&H with a 110 grain HP ends their day
