All matching SN on the gun is a good thing to go along with a rare old TD in 38-55 Savage as you see can confuse even some of the experts, I had a 1899 B TD that was not made in the year it SN too ?? Another rare one is the 1895 Savage made by Marlin, oooh do I wish I still had that one!!! ollogger

Hi & welcome! Not real sure on your gun, is it a pistol grip stock & checkered? then it could be a 1899 CD, I think the H is an inspector stamp more info would make it easier, then some one here most likely would be a better judge than me A photo would be the best way to describe the gun ollogger

HI & Welcome From Wyoming
To bad the Rossi has to be frustrating for you, I have two of them ( both 45 Colt) & they both run very well, in fact I ran 50 through
one today, that one must be around 3,000 rounds down the pipe & no problems
What can you hunt in Poland with your Rossi?

Wonder what would happen if you neck sized a 30-30 or 32 special down & fired it? a lot less taper Them cast bullets look sweet, the little 75 gr. fp speer bullet does a great job on antelope & will shoot through them even on a slight angel in the 25-35, the 117 Hornady is great on deer & some folks...
