Re: Sucks to get old, don't it
I just installed a new skinner brass front sight on my 94 win. 30-30 because of the same problem. It made a big diffrence with the rear peep sight.

+ 1 on the pawn shops. I deal with them here in S.C. no problems. dont matter new or old or where you got it. You paid for the gun so it should have been put in your name where you got it. I think a transfer only makes sure you can have it but dont prove ownership?

Re: Trying lead bullets in my 30-30s
rcbs makes cowboy dies just for lead bullets. I have a set for both my 30-30 and 45-70. they work great. I think you may be able to get just the expander die at midwayusa.com.

I have a mossberg ATR100 in 30-06, I did a little work on it and with match bullets will do 1/2" at 100yds. The action is based on remington700,also the 700 scope mounts fit this action. I bought another one for my son inlaw who loves his. For the money it cant be beat.

Old Ironsights, nice idea but dont think your freezer is fire proof. I lost all my guns to a house fire 3 1/2 years ago. I didnt have a safe. A stupid thing to do on my part. I also had a freezer and fridg in the fire. They were twisted piles of junk. The plastic insides will burn and melt, the oute...

I have a stack on safe like ben t and have had it about 3 1/2 years with no problems. It is fire rated as the other high dollar ones. I would buy another one.

prayers sent, getitdone. I had double pneumonia at age 34 , it went from a cold to pneumonia in less than 24hours. you can tell most of the time you got it because you or someone who puts a ear to your back can hear the fluid gurgling in your lungs when you take a deep breath. I was in the hospital ...

swampman, you are lumping all types of mental illness together.I used to work in a rehab center in the 80's and it was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. You are picking out a small no. of cases that in reality coud happen to any who is not mentaly ill. When you let the government decid...
