either! it is just a black bear. what ever will kill a deer will serve nicely for bear for hunting. if you are attacked then either. you will most likely get of one shot and that will probably not do you any good, and you will be mauled.

i have used a rcbs throw for years along with a lee perfect measure. i used a friends rcbs until i was able to come across one of my own. i love it. i have worked out a system that i can use the original dial and numbers and return to the same throw volume every time for each load.

i would go for the 444 because they are hard to find. there is always a .35 bing put up for sale, but not a 444. i have a .35 and love it and recommend it highly. i haven't ever seen any thing kill as fast. but all things being equal get the 444 and then later get the 35.

ben i made a dipper out of a 22 mag casing. it hold app. 5 grains of unique. it is extremely consistent due to the small opening.
