Well, I can't believe I have to even think about this but it is what it is... :x Got an e-mail from our neighbors. Apparently, yesterday someone broke in to a house in my neighborhood, in broad daylight. Their MO is to knock and verify if anyone is home. If not, the use a sledgehammer to "unloc...

Yeah , the gun goofs were pretty bad BUT only for us edumacated levergun folk... It was entertaining and I like the characters. Scenery was nice, even if it was NM and not WY. Looking for educated opinions about a .45-70 clone
So, I have come to terms with the fact that I cannot afford an original Winchester 1886  , however, one of the numerous clones out on the market would be fine, for my purposes. I have a 19 and 26. I'd like to add a 17 just for kicks. My 19 is one of my favorites and in over 5000 rounds it's jammed once, and that's most likely because I was screwing around seeing how fast i could empty a couple mags. I switch back and forth on my carry guns between the G26 and my little Si...

I recently purchased a Gen 2 Glock 17 and I had forgotten what a great "tool" this weapon actually is. It is not purty, it is not sexy, it is not collectible. BUT, it is an outstanding tool that you can always count on to go 'bang' when it is supposed to. I view these items for what they a...

Only 38-40s and 44-40s had the trapdoor for the wooden cleaning rod. The rod was too large for a 32-20 bore so therefore no need for a trapdoor. $1500.00 would be my guess. I have an 1873 in .32-20, circa the 1890's and it is all original, with the exception of the front sight (which I replaced). I...
