Nice!....I like it....any deer?..turkey? We feel confident that he has coyotes as we saw no rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs, and only 1 white tail...we used to see deer and groundhogs all the time. I have a CW9, dressed up by a local 'smith (Melonite the slide, front dovetail cut and new front sight, carry bevel all the edges) and I love it! It is perfect for it's intended purpose.

I also have a Model 69 (open bolt) with a peep sight and the requisite 5 shot magazine. It was the first rifle I picked myself over 30 years ago and I still have it...and it still the best, most accurate rifle I own!

I may lose all my levers (God forbid) but I will always have my little 69! 8)

Agreed. The pitting doesn't look too bad and the patina seems authentic.

Obviously, I cannot see the bore and I did notice the sling swivel on the mag tube...I hate that. But, easy to fix...or to hide a dent...

Not that it matters, but the Blue Book value on this gun (at 90%) was $140,000.00!!! :o

At 100%, which this was, I would estimate at least $225,000, if it was for sale, which it wasn't... :lol:

Yep! You guys are right!

This is a beautiful, heirloom quality piece that my entire family can enjoy and I can pass down to my kids.

I have always wanted one and the price was outstanding for a brand new quality piece.

Only 38-40s and 44-40s had the trapdoor for the wooden cleaning rod. The rod was too large for a 32-20 bore so therefore no need for a trapdoor. $1500.00 would be my guess.
