My Haversack
I made this out of a 75 cent scrap of really heavy canvas I found at a rummage sale, and some stuff out of my scrap box. The buckle is a Brown Bess sling buckle, and the button is French. The leather flap is scrap home tanned dear hide. It is dyed with walnut hulls, and aged with moccasain grease an...

Here's a little 20 Gauge 870 Magnun Express I picked up for $177.00 out the door. It's a youth model with a 21" barrel and it takes RemChokes. Remington had the adult buttstocks on clearance for $14.00. It was drilled for a swivel stud so I dug through my parts box and found one. Of course then...

No one said it didn't.Pyrodex causes corrosion and rust.
I've owned a bunch of barrels that were ruined with GOEX blackpowder.I've got a pitted barrel and cylinder to prove it.
Both are highly corrosive.

Re: Pyrodex Corrosion
It has been my personal experience that Pyrodex is exactly like blackpowder in caplock and 209 primer guns. It works great and I buy a lot of it for $5.00 a can at the end of the season at Walmart. As long as the gun is cleaned after each session it's fine.

I was making the point that inlines are just another method of harvesting game. Some folks hate them but I see them as safe and effective. Personally I don't approve of using assualt weapons in the game field but each to his own.

There are too many deer. How we harvest them isn't important. Since primitive weapons are more likely to wound and cause suffering perhaps we should outlaw them.
