Blue bird skies, 76 degrees here today.
I decided to put my fly rod together and go hit the river.
Lost 2 wild browns, each about 5-6" long. But I finally caught and landed a decent rainbow about 12-14". I try my best to not handle trout so all ya get are net pics!

I think your test will show you your bullet of choice will or will not break the bone and continue. However the front end of an animal is much different then a hind quarter. CRS- that is a CZ .410, that pic was the first time I pulled the trigger on it, a blue phase pheasant, he is now on the wall image.jpeg Six I was at the Hamburg store. Try Swiss BP, it has shown better performance than Goex for our front stuffers. Better velocities & easier cleaning.

nice rifle you have, some range time will tell you if the muzzle wear is cosmetic or detrimental, a quick& simple recrown normally does the trick! Brownells sells fairly inexpensive crown cutter with changeable pilots for bore diameters.
