Hey Tom, don't be afraid to try 3" slugs, sometimes the accuracy improves with less ' jump' through the forcing cone. And yes try a bunch of different slugs. My Savage 220 really likes 3" Remington Accutip. It'll keep 3 inside 2-3" at 100. I'd say your 33 is well within minute of deer/bear/elk. The ...

Sound like you had a good day at the range! There is a reason the BAR has an 8 lbs trigger- it's not a match rifle! I'm sure you are still the only guy on the planet shooting silhouettes with one, and that makes it all the more spectacular!

Well I can say the interview went surprisingly well! The owner says to me 'I see you are a gun guy'- yup sure am - you will fit in here we are gun guys! I am now gainfully employed as of 10/7. Got a couple projects I need to get finished before I start punching a time clock.

Yes the Viper was full of plastic parts!

I have a Cherokee in .32! Great fun, used to take it along to the prairie dog towns and have some fun. I also have a Maxiball mould. I used 20 hrs of FFF with either RBs or the Maxi. Bought mine as a kit back in the 80s.
