Because of the John Wayne comerative 1894 and ammo was avaliable it has to be registered, if you own a obsolete caliber if you shoot it you register it. Our government is run by idiots ialso own two 1894 Winchesters in 32_40

I have recently got myself a Marlin 1894CL 218 BEE but it's missing the front sight, the front sight is quite high at around .630 from bottom to top so I'm told.

You could always give it a change to 32-20, Numrich has some original Marlin CL barrels in 32-20 (wish they still had some 218 BEE barrels :cry: )

I have a Green Mountain barrel fitted to my Marlin 44 magnum absolutely no copper fouling or lead fouling.A little on the high side at .430 for a .44 cal with a twist of 1 in 36'' but it's a pearler.Loves 240 gain XTP's which are .430 size.

I have an original Winchester 1892 octagon 25-20 in real smick condition with a button mag. 1913 the bore is like mint.
I have only ever shot jacketed through her and she is very accurate.

Mine would have to be my Winchester model 92 32 WCF made in 1926 with a 24'' original Winchester octagon stainless steel barrel and it shoots very tight groups,and is slick as.

I had to rebarrel my 94 44 Magnum 24'' Cowboy it's groove size was .4335 shoots better now with a 26'' Green Mountain octagon barrel and with a slightly faster twist of 1 in 36 and a groove diameter of .430. loves Hornady 240 grain XTP's
