Festus Haggan was Matt Dillon's pard on Gunsmoke. Most times Festus rode a mule. The mule was called 'Ruth'. Ever wonder why Festus named that mule 'Ruth'? Well here's the story! Ode to a mule!

Tertiary structure consisted of the complex folding of the protein molecule. Research at that time indicated t...

In a sermon delivered almost a century ago, Rev. He grew up in another obsc...

Re: When plastics (or rubber?) go BAD......?
The problem lies in the fact that rubber and plastics contain plasticizers that give them flexibility. Over time, these plasticizers leach out of the products giving the surface a sticky feel. This also explains why car dashes crack. I know of no way to replace the plasticizers once they are gone. OPS

I have no idea about the 44 Russian version. Someone with more knowledge than me will have to chime in. I do know that the Russian version has the bullet fit inside the case like our more modern cartridges. Thus the 44 Russian probably has a diameter of .429 where as the 44 American has the heel ins...

4350 and 4831 are slow burning powders and you will run the risk of bending the operating rod since these deliver higher pressure at the muzzle. The Garand will work better and not damage anything using a mid-range powder such as 4895. Good luck.
