Re: Local gun shops. And greed. grrrrrrrr......

Local dentist said I needed a procedure on a tooth, but would just take the hygienist 15 min to complete, for 300 bucks. Being a quick study, I figured that rate at 900/hr for the assistant. Id rather go to my shop, put my head in a vice, and pull it with linemans pliers. Never went back, see em aro...

Rim fire fun

45 years ago, my Dad and I were fishing for big yellowcats on the San Saba river, and having good success. While driving around the ranch we found a giant pecan tree fallen over, and invented a shooting game. We placed ten long rifle brass a foot apart on the tree. Shooting from the hood of the jeep...

Boys, my youngest daughter (20) has a heart arrhythmia. She will have an ablation procedure today at 1:00 which should cure this. She was in the ER a few weeks ago with a pulse over 200. Any prayers sent for her will be very much appreciated. Thanks to all.

These days it seems fashionable for folks to become as large a leach as possible on society and the gov teat. How refreshing it is to see someone working for the betterment of their community, without personal recompense, as in volunteering three days a week...i say " WELL DONE SIR !" :D :D
