Re: This probably applies to all of OUR kids, as well...

I'm sure you've heard by now that it's likely that anyone under 21 will not have access to firearms. That's going to really throw cold water on bringing up young people in a gun friendly arena.

Re: 'Strong Emotions' do not make one an expert...

Most Democratis whom I know are emotional thinkers. They think with their emotions. Yep. AND they aren't even logical (or educated) enough to realize that when the same emotional response repeatedly fails to solve a problem, that perhaps it is time to listen to the grownups in the debate, and try a...

Re: Blaine and Fred tomato gravy

I learned to eat grits while Uncle Sam was telling me what to do, when to do it, and how high to jump. Tomato gravy sounds good on them. We used to have grits in the morning with watery eggs and bacon that had somehow had the flavor removed. The grits were the best tasting part of the meal. I've ha...

My very first car was an ate-up 65 Mustang.

This is my (probably) last Mustang. Nothing fancy or collectible. A 2012 V-6. These new V-6s are amazing. Lightweight, normally aspirated 300+ hp. 0-60 +-6.5 seconds and 28mpg cruising.
