My Dixie is now 13, lost an eye to cancer, had to have multiple teeth pulled, emergency spay too. Is she happy? You bet!! Her tail is always in motion, always a smile on her face too! My niece's dog has been home since last night, he already figured out how to get on the bed! He seems really happy ...

Back in late August my sisters lab( one of my puppies) developed a lump on his right front leg. Vet said it was most likely cancer. Did the blood work, xrays- removed the lump and sent for biopsy. Sure enough it was a soft tissue sarcoma. He was doing pretty good then stopped putting weight on that...

When you have a chance, put a little grease under all the metal...buttplate, screws, under barrel, etc....I started to see some rust on my Shiloh after awhile after no exposure to elements. :shock:
(I'm partial to Fluid Film grease....YMMV)
