Similar story when it comes to Sears, Kmart, etc. Short term thinking and profit making. Ironic thing is Sears was the original Amazon with their catalog back in the 1880s. I used to a long time ago.....Thing is, within fifteen minutes of calling, the ravens and crows would start to fly around and I swear they knew it was fake and they were making such a racket that I never did see much or get a lot...if ANY...shots.

I don't buy much of anything anymore, but let me explain why I still go to Cabelas every so often. Back in 2007-2008 when the price on EBRs, ammo, powder, etc (If you could find any of that stuff at all) the price in some cases doubled. Cabela's didn't raise their prices, and limited ammo and reload...

I was told that I needed them about two years ago. Thirty years of power tools will do that I guess. I can hear lower ranges and voices but the upper tones are difficult. Our erstwhile ( :( ) Forumite Bestlever loaded 30wcf AI with 130 grain pointy bullets. Said he was getting upwards of 2700 fps and excellent accuracy. Couldn't load more than one in the tube, but as good as he shot, I doubt the second shot was ever needed.

.177 pellet. Maybe 500 fps? I used to plink on public land around here, but now, they've clamped down on that. Silent...Very Accurate...Powerful...I couldn't be more pleased.
I thought it would be too heavy, but lots of the weight is behind the grips and it balances out very nicely. Kind of pricy, but it's a winner.
