Worked perfect on my system, and it's an old hand me down PC with only 512MB RAM. No glitches or buffering issues.
Good looking holster, and the guitar work was nice too!

Re: Pedersoli Sharps Range Report
KCSO, thanks for the tip on Swiss powder. This is actually the first time I've ever used the stuff, so I'll give your suggestion a go. I'll have to keep that in mind when loading for my other guns as well. On the 3 versus 5 shot group point you make, as well as your thoughts on firing at longer rang...

Re: Pedersoli Sharps Range Report
kimwcook, those pictures are good enough to tell me you've got a gorgeous rifle, thanks for posting the pictures. I definitely would have gone for a Shiloh if I'd had the money, they are really works of art. Markbo, I'm going to have my wife come down to the gun room in the next day or two to hopefu...

Re: Pedersoli Sharps Range Report
Pretty rifle Warhawk. kimwcook, what caliber is your Sharps? You all should post your range results! Oly, God blessed me with extra thumbs on each hand when it comes to working a computer, so I don't really know how to post pictures on this site. That said, I'll get my wife to help me try to figure ...

Re: Uberti 45-75 Range Report
Thanks to everyone for all your input. I've actually heard back from both Cody and Mike by email today, and Mike followed up with a phone call. My impression is I can't go wrong with either of them, but I'll probably end up going with Cody because he specializes in the Winchester toggle action. Also...

Re: Pedersoli Sharps Range Report
Yup, I gotta say it was one of the most satisfying days I've had in a while. According to my calculator, between the '76 and the Sharps, I sent over six pounds of lead down range, and burned over a pound of black powder doing it! Feels like I got a lot of overdue work done, too. Been feeling good al...

Pedersoli Sharps Range Report
So, it may be a stretch, but I figure a Sharps rifle qualifies as a lever action, even if it's a single shot lever action, so here's another range report for the day. A little history is in order first, though. I bought this rifle from Cabela's eleven years ago; it is in 45-120 caliber, which is all...

Re: Uberti 45-75 Range Report
Thanks for the heads up on the NE Regional. I'd love to make it, but I'm going to be in Texas that weekend Thursday through Sunday helping a buddy celebrate turning 40; it's been a few years since he helped me celebrate mine! I've heard of Cody Conhager before, and his short stroke action jobs, and ...

Re: Uberti 45-75 Range Report
Thanks for the names; since reading your responses I've already left a voicemail with M&M Gunsmithing, and called Cody Conhager's as well. Looks like the Cowboy Shop is closed until the 20th. Alexandria is fifteen minutes away, and the wife and I drive out near where the Cowboy Shop is fairly of...

Uberti 45-75 Range Report
Hello All, Well, it's been far too long since I've posted anything in this forum, for which I apologize. Seems like my little year and a half old twin boys keep things busy enough to keep me from getting much computer time, but they're asleep right now, so here goes! I've had an Uberti 1876 copy in ...

Re: Replica and Import lever quality?
Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since I've been on line. Sorry for the absence; not enough hours in the day! I have an Uberti '73 in 44-40 with the 30" tube, and it is one of my favorite guns. Fit and finish is better than anything in my cabinet that's been made in the last fifty years,...

Re: OT - Baltimore Antique Arms Show 2/20 and 2/21
I'd say your prospects should be very good on all counts. I've seen a couple of documented Walker Colt revolvers there, a number of Volcanic pistols, and Henry rifles are usually well represented, just to give an example of what kind of show it is. It's truly a collector's show, and it's huge. There...

Re: OT - Baltimore Antique Arms Show 2/20 and 2/21
It's been about three years since I've been able to make it, but I can tell you it's an incredible show; way outside the gun show norm. Think of it as a very large firearms museum, but with price tags! And just about every table has lots of interesting things. Anyone with an interest in old firearms...

Re: New To The Forum
Well, I can definitely tell this is a good bunch of folks by reading all the posts. With regards to posting pictures, can regular jpeg photos be posted? There are a couple of threads going on right now that I'd really like to post photos to. Thanks Griff, we're pretty pleased with the little guys. T...

Colo Native, never heard of Ruin, Virginia; where is it? Fairfax is up north, right outside of DC.

Re: New To The Forum
Thanks on the congrats about my twins; they're really great little guys. Since you mention it, the Uberti '76 I mentioned was bought as a celebration of their arrival. I'm depending on this forum to help show my wife the wisdom of adding a L'il Sharps in .22 Long Rifle to the collection. How are my ...

Re: New To The Forum
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm from Fairfax, but with a disclaimer. My family hailed from Frederick County, northwest of Winchester, and Loudoun County, since 1761, so I'm always afraid of being misunderstood to be a non-Virginian from Fairfax. Any other Virginians on the forum, and if so, do you ...

New To The Forum
Good Morning All! I've been checking out this website for a bit, and finally figured out how to register, so here's my first post. Seems like a good bunch of folks here, and knowledgeable too. A little background: I live in Virginia (born and raised), and have been a shooter since eleven years old, ...
