I think 20" but it was the cheaper grade that didn't have case color. It has a flat black buttplate and a round barrel.
I am going to see if my closest gun shop has any interest in it. I like to support the local guys.

Re: Browning 92 44 mag vs Win Trails End 44 mag
It was one of those right place at the right time. A friend of a friend was getting rid of a gun last week and I picked up a new in the box Win 94 44 mag. That was the reason for my question, I don't want to shoot it if I am going to flip it. If it wouldn't have been new in the box I would already h...

Re: Cabelas Ammo boxes Cheap!!!
It only showed up that I got the free boxes, after I bought the first ones in the confirmation email , so do so at your risk.
It is still a good deal.
I am just trying to help a few guys out.

ddj, Terry Murbach was there and doing it before most of us on this forum were born. When he speaks he says what he says from experience based on having done these things. He uses all caps cos he types with a vocal set up I think. Not sure what they call those things. He has my utmost respect, but ...

Re: Browning 92 44 mag vs Win Trails End 44 mag
Thanks for the link!!! I don't want to appologize for myself but I live in a state where we can't for the most part hunt big game with a rifle so there aren't alot of folks that have them except collectors. Most of guys who I hunt with know shotguns but little about rifles. The closest gunshop is 30...

Re: Browning 92 44 mag vs Win Trails End 44 mag
I WOULD ALWAYS CHOOSE ANY '92 OVER ANY '94 IN ANY PISTOL CALIBER HANDS DOWN NO QUESTIONS ASKED. THERE IS NO REALLY TRUE COMPARISON OF THESE TWO TWO LEVERGUNS AT ALL !!! IT IS SORTA LIKE COMPARING A ROADSTER AND A PICK'EM UP TRUCK. YOU WOULD ASK A HELL OF A LOT FEWER QUESTIONS IF YOU WOULD GO LOOK A...

I like how the 92 doesn't have the tang saftey and the action feels like there is less play in it.

Browning 92 44 mag vs Win Trails End 44 mag
Hello all, I am wondering what the views are between a Browning 92 or a Trails End 94. I would like some opinions of which they like and why? The Trails end I am referring to is not the case colored octagon barrel version its the round barrel version the a black buttplate. Thanks for the help, ddj

Re: Browning 92 Questions???
Changing the rear sight is the same as any other dovetail sight. That drift out from left to right as seen from above, muzzle away from you. If you havent done it before, use a brass or nylon punch or drift, and a small hammer. If the new sight is very tight, it's best to fit it to the slot so as n...

Browning 92 Questions???
Hello all, This is my first post here. I purchased a Browning 92 in really nice shape over the weekend and had a few questions. Can anyone give me their opinions of these guns? I liked how it wasn't fit with a tang or crossblock saftey. Can I fit it with a ladder sight? If so, where do I find one an...
