My LGS is happy to do transfers for $25 and I have done a couple. But twice I found something I wanted at Bud's and asked them if they could come within $25 of Bud's price (was actually prepared to go higher) and both times they beat Bud's price. We both won. Hard to beat that.

Where in the world did you find a modern Yamaha with classic Mercury styling? I love my old outboards and wouldn't hesitate such a trip with my current daily ride, a '58 Lone Star Skipper with '58 Evinrude Lark 35 but I get why not everyone would or should.

I ordered one for one of my Blackhawks and it came with two sizes. one was perfect for my 4 5/8 .45 Colt, and as a bonus the other worked great on my 6 1/2 .357. I'm 68 and find they work well with my old eyes.

As much as I like shooting and carrying my 4 5/8" 45 Colt Blackhawk I would hate to shoot my 30 Carbine Blackhawk with less than it's 7 1/2". Depends on caliber.

Or it can remagnetize.

Our old outboards built before WWII don't have the permanent style magnets developed for the war effort and often benefit from remagnetizing. A couple of club member have build copper wound devices to do that.

Crosman made a CO2 shotgun, I think in the 70s. My brother has one but finding shooting supplies for it is almost impossible. Plus I think it uses two CO2 cartridges at a time. Probably was pricey to shoot.

On the advice of an old Auto 5 shooter I cleaned my 16 ga thoroughly after having some cold weather issues and lubed everything with graphite powder. Runs perfect since then though I still like a few drops of Remoil on the mag tube.

Just buy the sizing die! And while you're at it buy the .357 Max version. It will work on .38 Spl, >357 Mag and Maximum if you ever decide to mess with that too.
