I would agree with the ride along several if possible or see if your town has a citizens academy that you can go through. To tell the truth most of your average citizens have no clue what a police officer, sheriff's deputy or Game Warden or anyone that is in the judical system goes through every day...

I talked to the sellers Friday night and They are working on it. All of the postings on here pertaining to the auction have been Deleted as far as I can tell. Like you said it may take awhile. But this is how my luck's been running lately.

I found a Marlin 336 in 35 Remington today at a pawn shop near my house. Price $249.95 + Tax, it was in Good shape. I have never owned a Marlin, Winchester's and Rossi lever guns only, Should I lay it away? I wish that Tax rebate would come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A carbine length would be better, those .45 are long rifles, I prefer a short barrel. A .357/38 in Carbine length that would Feed and function with no problems would be a great gun, plus a good set of sights. The sights on the one I had was terrible.
