Good sambar is dead sexy and I'll take it anytime I can with the exception of the hand cannons, they get bearpaw wood grips. For me nothing comes close to the feel of good quality sambar. Not surprising. My little brother never fired a live round in navy boot, all weapons training was laser simulators. This was at Great Lakes in 2000 iirc.

Correct me if I'm wrong isn't there a warning from CCI about shooting aluminum pistol caliber (40/45)rounds in revolvers? Maybe I'm thinking of the shot loads, but I remember something about aluminum cased 40's in my 646. Its a pain getting old LOL.

Miroku 1885 22 hornet

I know its a litle off topic but it still has a lever right? I'm looking at one of these to replace a A-Bolt hornet I sent down the road. Just curious what lawyer BS they added into the 1885 models. The Hornets are low walls if I'm not mistaken. Any differences between the Brownings and Winchesters?...

On the L frame it was the 646 in 40s&w. Some have been converted to 10mm but not so wise imho. 610's are N frames.

The ar/m16 shouldn't be dry fired with out the upper on as the hammer smacks the mag well. Otherwise its good to go dropping the hammer on an empty chamber.

I have a Varmint Stalker in .223 and a Hunter in .22 Hornet, and both are shoot the lights out one ragged hole grouping guns. Had a couple in hunting calibers that were all MOA or less rifles. Excellent rifles.

I got a great deal on a few thousand 180gr rn bullets a few years ago and combined with 30gr of R15, you couldn't ask for more out of any of the 30/30's I've tried them in. Sounds like your loads alittle light...Dave

Another option is one of the Smith 21's that came out a few years ago if you don't mine the fixed sights. Real world prices are $600 and under if you look around. Have to deal with the lawyer lock though....

That does sound very much like Bells Palsy in humans, except its the Facial nerve (cranial nerve 7) that causes Bells Palsy instead of the Trigeminal (cranial nerve 5). Good luck with your pooch, I like my two more than most people.

Excuse me Medicdave, but Chuck, is your '53 a Winchester or Browning. I tried some Remington factory cast loads and wasn't satisfied with the results at all.
