I was just a company security guard 1965 to 2000. Started in Burbank and transferred to Palmdale in 1969. They closed the original Burbank plant about 1972. I believe I still hold the #1 badge for all time length of seniority. I worked straight for Lockheed as a "inhouse" guard, meaning no...

In 1966 I gave $1,000 for this 1963 Harley. I figure I put over 100,000 miles on it and sold it about 1978 for about the same. Trouble is the poor guy I sold it to got killed on it shortly. I gave $1,500 for this 1964 Harley in about 1979. I kept it about two years and sold it for $2,500. Then about a year or two later I seen it in the paper and the guy I sold it to was asking $10,000! Think about it. Every encounter a warden has with a hunter, the customer is armed. Not so with all other leo in their stops. I think my 1956 94 30/30 holds 6. I haven't often bothered to load that many. Years ago when I was a kid in Wisconsin I recall seeing quite a percentage of 94`s with the mag tube cut back for weight and speed of handling to hold about three. That`s all you need 99.9 % of the time unless it`s red dawn.
