Re: neat lever gun that most of us would enjoy!
I have often thought that with rifles. A rifle that was captured at Gallipoli from the Australians or British was engraved and presented to Lawrence of Arabia by the saudi's. It was in Australia at the War Memorial last year on loan from the UK. As a fan of both Lawrence, and a person who lost a gre...

As I say, the problem is SAAMI- I bet you will find a 100% fire rate- even if you come across some ammo with reputedly hard primers from eastern block countries. I suspect someone just made a fractional error converting the standard from metric to US imperial. Personally, if you are happy with Wolf ...

Re: OT- CZ 527 carbine
This is common with this model. Winchester (Olin) (the CZ agent in Australia) no longer import this model because of this, and swopped the one I had, several years after I purchased it new, and all of my ammo etc over to a .223 model. The CZ is built to tight tolerances, and the eastern block 7.62x3...

There was one on a rifle I acquired as a trade. I try not to judge things without personal experience, as I find some things under rated by many shooters and also many things over rated. 218 BEE in a BROWNING LEVER GUN
I have just come across a Browning lever gun in 218 Bee. From reading the 218 seems to be a necked down 25/20 firing standard .224 bullets. If this is the case it should be an easy handloading proposition and one reasonably cheap to feed if one handloads. Before buying the peace, and with knowledge ...
