Re: Anyone else here about deaf?
I am totally deaf in my left ear (left ear is just an ornament) and my right ear is ok, but no better. I've been wearing hearing aids for some time now, one on each ear ; the aid that hangs on my bad ear transmits to the aid on my good ear. Hmmm...I've been reloading 270 the longest and am quite fond of this caliber. 45/70 is another one, however my shoulder isn't up for that much recoil anymore, so my 30-30 CB Marlin gets a lot of time and use.
I'm just venturing into loading for my 357's, finally !

Large Rifle Primers
Stopped by a local sporting goods store (Scheels) yesterday and browsed a bit, including their reloading supplies.
The primer supply continues to improve. They had quite an offering of Magtech brand large rifle primers. I've never used these, does anyone here have any experience with them ?

I snagged a Ruger GP100 3" 357 Wiley Clapp exclusive back when Lipsey's first introduced them. I purchased a Simply Rugged pancake holster (OWB) for it. At 36 oz (empty), it's noticeable. I've been looking intently at an SP101 2 1/4" Wiley Clapp as an alternative. The Wiley Clapp exclusive...

My son keeps a boat in Kewaunee, WI for salmon fishing on Lake Michigan.
Best wishes to you with your new gem, I'll bet she cuts the water beautifully.

Ted, the Williams front "fire sights" are really nice, but are damaged easily (too easily).
I had one on my 30-30 CB (Williams FP rear aperture) and had to replace it due to being twisted a bit. Have no idea how it happened as I'm pretty careful about my iron sights.

The people who bitch the loudest about zoning are usually the ones who build/live in the stupidous places, such as unstable shoreline, etc.
Then when the inevitable occurs, they whine, "I've got a problem, what are you going to do about it"?
Yep, they live among us....
