I enjoy Tenkara fishing. Fly fishing with a rod, level line, and fly. Most enjoyable.( Now I'm beginning to euro nymph with a 10.5 foot euro nymphing rod. ) Creek chubs and minnows are a blast! Bluegills and Smallmouth bass are trophies. MK

I have a Ruger lightweight commander. For the money and titanium ramp, you really can't beat it. I've done a bit of carry with it recently and shooting. I bought one of those when my Son was about 8. He played with it until he could hit what he wants. For the next several evenings at dark, he would turn on the porch light and engage targets of opportunity! He would even salt his food before he arrived at the table! HaHa MK

It would appear that the placement of the sights on the "frame" with smooth barrel that after a shot and miss, it would be less likely to hurt the user, when the bad guy gives you the pistol back in suppository form!? MK

Winchester model 88 in 308
I have been looking at a nice 1956 Winchester model 88 in 308. I realize that is the most common, just happens to be my favorite. It has a Weaver 2-7x scope as well. I like the looks of the rifle, I just don't know much about it. Any pros or come to watch for? MK

My daily carry pistol is almost the exact opposite. It was a Glock 17 I had the gripframe shortened to Glock 19 size. Easy to conceal, and plenty sight radius. I also have the option of using model 19, 17, or extended length mags. I call it my Glock 19L. Maybe Glock will try this tact in the future?...

We used to get rat snakes and black snakes in the unattached 2 car garage. I found that using "TomCat" brand rat and mouse poison cookie dough like blocks, the food source would be gone. Without the food the underwear soilers seem to have gone elsewhere.
