Safe travels and if you make it to the maybe state of Iowa, I have a spot to shoot. Nothing fancy, just some steel and paper. I'm just off of I-29 on the Iowa side of Omaha.

Re: Taylors Chiappa Alaskan Takedown 357 Mag Rifle 16" ?s
I ended up with a couple of Marlin TD's that were made by Lee Hadaway for a gun shop in the south that are awful nice, but have the 20" barrel on each. They are also not in the caliber that you are looking at Mike, but I sure like them. The Chiappa has the caliber, barrel length and finish goin...

I'm also a fan of the Browning, but in this case I sure like the idea of a 16.25" .22WMR. That's a lot of rimfire power in a compact handy little carbine. That would be my choice. Good luck with your decision.

Register the complaint. I run with one of the Marlin .410's that they made a few years back and have had good success with it. I've shot some quail, squirrels and two wild roosters with mine, usually 2.5" 7 1/2's. I'm more limited by my lack of time to take it out and hunt with it. Also, in my neck of the woods, there...
