This is great progress. Congrats to you and your efforts.
My work has changed from street duty to corrections/court security activities which restricts movement greatly. Time to start a proper exercise and stretching program before I "grow" out of my gunbelt and pants!

Has anyone tried one of their 16 gauge SxS guns? I saw one several years ago at Green Top Sporting Goods. Looked decent and felt good for much less than a G note.

Smith Model 10s, especially round butt ones, make me want to get out the credit card....I already have a RB 4" pencil barrel one that I carried on duty in the late 1980's - a heavy barrel one like yours would be great to have as well. Try a Tyler-T-Grip on it if you have small hands like I do. ...

That skinny barrel 64 brings back memories. My agency had four of those and were desired by the administrative types due to their lighter weight. All of our revolvers were traded for Glock 17 pistols in 1989. Wish we could have bought them!

I'll start with three:

Spend some quality time with my Win. 94 and Garand,
Find a decent .22 levergun.

My dad had a 16 gauge IC/modified 311 when I was a kid. It had uncheckered walnut wood as I recall. He had stopped hunting birds by the time I came along so it was strictly a working farm gun. In those days, the nearby townsfolk got rid of unwanted dogs by simply driving a few miles into the country...
