This is great progress. Congrats to you and your efforts.
My work has changed from street duty to corrections/court security activities which restricts movement greatly. Time to start a proper exercise and stretching program before I "grow" out of my gunbelt and pants!

Has anyone tried one of their 16 gauge SxS guns? I saw one several years ago at Green Top Sporting Goods. Looked decent and felt good for much less than a G note.

They have good bakery items if you're not a coffee drinker. If you fancy decaf coffee, they have a decaf that actually tastes like real coffee.
Thanks for the heads up about their Second Amendment support. I will go on 2/14 and get a decaf and two doughnuts (bad boy!)

Smith Model 10s, especially round butt ones, make me want to get out the credit card....I already have a RB 4" pencil barrel one that I carried on duty in the late 1980's - a heavy barrel one like yours would be great to have as well. Try a Tyler-T-Grip on it if you have small hands like I do. ...

That skinny barrel 64 brings back memories. My agency had four of those and were desired by the administrative types due to their lighter weight. All of our revolvers were traded for Glock 17 pistols in 1989. Wish we could have bought them!

Reclaiming my reloading area in my shed-my daughter took it over while in art school for her studio. She has since moved out and I need to get back to loading .45 ACP to feed two 1911s which have been neglected by my son and I for the last few years.

A '60's three screw Ruger Single Six with extra .22 Magnum cylinder, original box, papers, and Western gunbelt-traded it thirty years ago for a Remington 511 .22 rifle and a Remington 10 pumpgun. Still have the 511. I was in college at the time and was broke at the time. Ah, the stupidity of youth.....

I'll start with three:
Shoot the Springfield Armory .38 Super I bought over a year ago and have not fired it yet,
Spend some quality time with my Win. 94 and Garand,
Find a decent .22 levergun.

We are issued these for LE/Corrections work. Have any of you ever hunted game with these?
Would there be any realistic difference in effectiveness between these and a "full power" slug?

My dad had a 16 gauge IC/modified 311 when I was a kid. It had uncheckered walnut wood as I recall. He had stopped hunting birds by the time I came along so it was strictly a working farm gun. In those days, the nearby townsfolk got rid of unwanted dogs by simply driving a few miles into the country...
