Re: E.M.F. Sharps 45-70

I have one made by Pedersoli, EMF was the importer. It is a very well made replica and shoots great. New ones are still inported and range from $1200-$2200 depending on modle. If it's a Davide Pedersoli $600 would be a steal. I talked to the owner. Its not a Pedersoli . I'll give you $600 for yours...

Re: How Accurate Should a 22 Mag be?

I would take the scope off and shoot at 25yds with iron sights and see what it groups like. If it groups good at 25yds I would try a better scope. If it doesn't group well then you need to look at the rifle.

Missouri Bullet Company makes a 125 gr. RNFP that I really like for .38 Special, 4.2 gr. Titegroup.

Re: 22 Mag Kel-Tec vs. Single Six

Even with a full magazine, mine is so light that there is quite a bit of recoil. Only have 400 rounds through it, no problems so far.

I've used American Pioneer for several years in .45-70 and my muzzle loaders, have Pyrodex for the c&b revolvers. Won't replace the Pyrodex when it's gone.
