While answering other posts I also noticed that I had not introduced myself. I'm into lever guns. I have at one time or another owned most of the Winchester/ Browing models. Congrats on your 1894. I bought mine when I was 14 years old. 1908 saddle ring 30WCF. Love it. I'm 62 now. These guns are real keepers. Enjoy!!

I never had a 25/35. Always wanted one. Two of my uncles had them and 30/30's too. They alway claimed the 25/35 killed elk better than the 30/30. But the 30/30 they claimed was the better deer gun.
