While answering other posts I also noticed that I had not introduced myself. I'm into lever guns. I have at one time or another owned most of the Winchester/ Browing models. I hunt mainly with an 1894 src 30WCF made in 1908. I have used the 1886 rifle in 38/56, 45/70 and 40/82. Only have the 45/70 n...

I bought a Browing model 71 carbine when they came out. Love it! Bought several hundred 348 cases & numerous boxs of bullets. I even found factory ammo as cheap as $5.00 a box. Bought all the used brass I could find. Old rem-umc brass way lighter than any other make of brass. Old Winchester/West...

Congrats on your 1894. I bought mine when I was 14 years old. 1908 saddle ring 30WCF. Love it. I'm 62 now. These guns are real keepers. Enjoy!!

I never had a 25/35. Always wanted one. Two of my uncles had them and 30/30's too. They alway claimed the 25/35 killed elk better than the 30/30. But the 30/30 they claimed was the better deer gun.
