redux, I bought one in .45 Colt from Big 5 just after Christmas. I'm pleased with it, but have only been able to plink with powder-puff loads at the indoor 50' range so far. Shows promise, at least.
Tom, they were on sale for $400 at the time.

Yeah, the .50 AK is a thumper! I shot Ben Forkin's a few years ago, and it seemed I could feel my brain bouncing around in my skull! Never experienced that from recoil, even with a .600 Nitro (in a heavier rifle, of course). Too much of a good thing for me!
