Shooting really high. I'm on paper at 25 yrs, but no where to be found at 50.
With the peep, I can see the front site just fine. Yes, its zeroed with the peep at 50. No problems.
The rear site is in the peep when it is up.
Thanks for the reply

Uberti 1873 lover gun front site question
I recently added a Marbles Tang peep site to my Uberti. Shoots great. I needed to remove the back iron site as it was in my peep hole site picture and bugged me. I bought a Marbles rear foldable site with the adjustable elevation to replace the stock one. Now, when using the rear foldable site I can...

Thanks,

If you do not get all the carbon/powder cleaned out of the barrel, that is, the amount you cannot see, will this adversely affect the barrel over time?

Not sure how WD 40 got in the mix. My original post included Ballistol. thoughts please
Also, how about the carcinogenic effects to humans. I usually latex gloves when messing with all the cleaners.
Oh, and how about negative effects on synthetic stock, rubber type grips such as Hogue?

Removal of Rossi 92 rear sight
I'm replacing the sight the rifle came with and seem to be having a little trouble removing the factory sight. I've tapped on it with a small brass rod and small hammer but it doesn't budge. Does it make a difference which direction to remove it? don't want to screw this thing up.
