Took my new Rossi 92 to the playground today and fed her well. Don't you know she was putting everything high. The factory sights, rear especially, :x , are so loose. Need some suggestions please, for the existing rear and possibly for a brand new set. Other than that, I love the gun :P Thanks.........

Recently got my 92 Rossi and have noticed that the loading trap door appears to be made of plastic. Not sure I like that.
Seems like it should be steel. Can it be and does it need to be replaed with a steel one? If so, where can I get one?

Can someone tell me if Uberti and Taylor are equal in Quality, etc? I realize that Uberti makes 1873's for Taylor and the rifles have the Taylor name.

Per the Uberti website: What is the difference between the 1871-72 EARLY MODEL OPEN TOP and the Late model? I am thinking about getting a 1851 NAVY CONVERSION — 7-1/2 in 38 spl. I will only be shooting occassionally with factory loads. I am assuming that their should not be any issues reguarding it ...

OK...........Thought I had my mind made up on a Uberti 20", 357. Snooping around, I have come across the Rossi 92 20" Oct barrell in 357. Can someone do a compare on these two please? I'm a range guy and plinker but love to shoot and make it count.

Well, I suppose I have settled into the Uberti 73, 20", 357Mag. Got her oredered today. Dealer said it would 3-4 months.
Now how in the heck am I gonna make it that long waitin' for that gun. May a good sleeping pill...........lol
