Range Report

I took the Win. M94 30-30 out to the range today to try out a load given to me on the forum by either jmiller or Tycer (forgive me for not remembering: it's been 6 months and the old forum is down preventing a search) and to sight in my deer rifle. Here's what I came up with. Target on the left is t...

If that doesn't work give this guy a holler in Shawnee. He's done pretty decent work for me and he's a straight shooter. He'll talk your ear off though...

The legal system in Nebraska is definately broke for even allowing someone to file such a rediculous lawsuit! Just think of the tax dollars at waste! I read the article from a different source and I think that's precisely his point. Frivolous lawsuits are a drain on the entire system and a severe p...

Lever in Resident Evil

I just saw a preview for Resident Evil - Extinction. Looks like Milla is using a lever but I couldn't tell which one. Guess that gives me an excuse to go see it... Comes out Friday.

Here 'tis! Bushy ORC

Image

I haven't had time to wring it out yet (waiting on a better scope) but it sure is a hoot. Fit and finish is very good and overall I'm very happy with it.

That's a great idea, thanks for sharing! I have the same problem out where I shoot. The ground isn't frozen though, just dry and hard.

I think I'll try it with a couple of lengths of 2x2 angle or some scrap tubing I have laying around.

They do have a barrel that is chambered for a 25-06 but you'd have to remove the lug under the chamber, cut the barrel from the breech to remove the 25-06 chamber, rechamber the barrel and weld the barrel lug back on. I would imagine that you'd have to replace or re-contour the ejector to work with ...

I've used Rainiers in my 357 Sig and they've worked well for me too. I've used plated bullets in my 45 Colt with a light roll crimp since I don't have a taper crimp die and it has worked well.

Since it's an NEF, a rebore and rechamber is the only choice he'll have. NEF doesn't offer a 25-35 barrel and the do not do custom work. I have an ultra varmint in 223 Rem and I love it but I'd look for a TC or Ruger #1 if I were going to spend that money. If that's out of the question, look at a ca...

I have to ask about these things because I don't have any experience with them and I can't get my hands on one without ordering it. I'd like a Rock River but I'm not willing to wait 4-6 months to get my hands on one. Can anyone recommend a forum where I can ask?

As disgusting as this is and as upset as I am about the likely backlash against law-abiding gun owners, I can't help but feel for those we lost, the survivors and their families. Let's remember them in our prayers.

I agree, a CCW holder might have been able to do something.

The Winchester photo is a reject, yours is much better.

If you want to blur the background, try a faster shutter speed. That should do the trick.

Yes, I have a 35mm "real" camera, no, I don't have a digital yet. Go ahead and laugh.
