About the only ones I won't shoot are collectible guns still in unfired condition or rare guns with parts that can't readily be replaced. Others get shot, even if it's just mild loads at the range.

I carried a 7 1/2" 44 for several years, but find 6" to be bit more comfortable to carry. I have one 5" 686+ and it seems to be a good compromise between the handiness of a 4" and the better sight radius of a 6".

I've used them for 14" barreled Contenders and other "horse" pistols, but much prefer a good side holster for anything in the 7 1/2" or shorter barrel range.

Instead of "26L" ,I believe it's "TOC" That's Turkish 8mm military ammo. That stuff was dirt cheap once along with the imported Turkish rifles. I may still have a bandoleer of it someplace in my garage.

I'll be curious to see how the Rangers hold up long term. I haven't been impressed with most of the mid to lower priced Turkish made guns I've seen. The wood and metal are nice looking, but the quality is lacking with a lot of them.

A No 3 in 44 should make a fun rifle. The only No 3 I own is in 375 Winchester. It never gets shot, so I need to dig it out and either load up some ammo or haul it to a gunshow and trade it for something I would shoot.

I never had a use for one. It might be fine for doing chronograph work with lots of ammo testing, but I wouldn't count on the point of impact using the sled being the same as shooting without it.

I'm thinking maybe or maybe not. There's a lot of bullet lubes out there including dozens if not hundreds of homemade mixes. I'd think not all lubes act the same, so it's hard to tell without a ton of testing.
