Re: Factory New 32 Winchester Special

The only Miroku I own is an older Browning 92. It's nice and shoots well but doesn't have the "feel". I have a bunch of original Winchester carbines and one rifle in 32WS. I have a 1936 Marlin in 32 also. I really like the cartridge and all mine are good shooters. The one rifle I have is one of the ...

Thanks buddy. I like the old, simpler things best. They usually work at their intended purpose better.
If I go sit in my gunroom to watch a movie on Netflix, Hulu or TV, by the time its all connected, and I find something worth watching........its time to go to bed.

I've had one in my Harley for years. It breathes much better, cause you have to increase your fuel quite a bit. If you don't, it runs way lean.

Yeah I hear you on the AMC 20. PIA. I kept a Dana 35 alive on 33s by going with a Detroit Tru Trac instead of a full blown locker in Old Red. Just a 4 banger in it but did manage to snap a motor mount on a rough climb a few years back.

The 30s are tougher than people think. Gusset the lower C's, upgrade the shafts and universals, and it will hold 35s if you dont go too heavy on the skinny pedal.

Guy just a couple miles from me had a nice CJ6. Someone on this board is building one right now. Can't remember who it was. I agree. Never been a fan of a V8 in a Jeep. The 258 and the 4.0 were probably the best. The old 225 Dauntless wasn't too bad, but I prefer the inlines. The 4 bangers are ok in...

Strangely, many of the houses still stand, and are used as camps now. Kind of weird. There is actually a makeshift airstr...
