Re: Rossi 1892 malfunction

The ejector springs are WAY too stiff in those rifles. I have an older one and mine was too. It makes the last bit of lockup very stiff due to compressing the ejector. A call to Steve and a lighter spring will remedy most of the issue. While mine closed hard, it did close. Not sure what your issue i...

I have an older Rossi 92 20" .357. While there is certainly nothing wrong with the 94 Marlin, to me, nothing carries and handles like a 92. Even with my original Winchesters, the 92 is my favorite.

I have a FF3 that I like and have used on a lever. The above RMR on my AK has an auto adjust feature that works extremely well also.
The only thing I don't care for with the FF3 is that it doesn't use CR2032 batteries. All my other red dots do. The Burris is the "oddball"

Deeply impressed with both of those. The deluxe version - I have never seen a period 1894 rifle of such class. I think what does it for me is the straight grip. The deluxe pistol grips are nice, but for me there is something extra fine about the straight grip in fancy wood with checkering. I agree ...

I shoot with the kids quite a bit. They like to rip it up with the AK's lately, so I drug mine out too. I've always liked the AK. They shoot pretty good, but the sights don't get easier with age. I don't worship at the altar of Glock. I own 2, a 19 and a 21SF. That said, facts are facts. I have zero experience with the Sig.
