Beautiful picture buddy!

It was nice here mist of the day. I filed the saw, gassed and oiled it, and got to sawing up the rest of that wood on the front lawn.
There was still a ton of it. A lot if it was really too big for stove wood, but I sawed it all up anyway. What a workout!

It's amazing how different that would sound if it was 50 years ago. I've heard it's a nice place to see and visit these days. Even an old hick like me has traveled way more than I ever thought I would. I like the destinations, but the traveling (especially air), they can keep. :D

Nice! I had a solid stock stainless GB for many years. I sold it during the panic buy after 9/11 for a wild profit. I bought an early production M1A Scout for a couple hundred dollar investment.

Pretty clever! That's weird about the red squirrel shortage. They are everywhere here.
We got 6 inches of snow Sunday night. It was 11 degrees yesterday morning but warmed to about 40 luckily. Man, spring is taking its sweet time getting here. I got stuff to do! :D

I don't think I've had any disappear,, but sometimes it's difficult to get them to post. Many times the forum just won't load. Sometimes I go days without getting on. I fear if it keeps up forum membership and activity will suffer.

Yes, I've heard if baby dragoons. Unfortunately, I'm no Colt cap and ball expert. I think they were a predecessor to the 1849 pocket model, coming out just a couple years prior.

I went with the Speer 125gr TNT over H110. It has given excellent results, but I haven't used it on game to date. From what I've read, however, it is supposed to work well.

I'm 6' and weigh 190. I have a 34" waist. I can carry a 1911 without much trouble, but prefer a LW Commander. I can also carry a round butt K-frame. IMO, it's more about how you dress, where you carry your gun, and how willing you are to make changes in your clothing. To some degree, it depends...

We ended up with about a foot and a half of light fluff. It was about 15 below yesterday, and didn't get over 10 above today. Ran the blower for about 4 hours today. Still snowing, but it's supposed to taper off.
