At 0400 on a empty Korean mountain highway at 140 KPH with a huge upward cliff on one side and a downward cliff to a rice pattie below. The right rear brake locked up! The car went to three shops before repairs were completed. The metal had welded itself from the heat.

Across the street from this is the Civil War museum. I got some old airhead BMW parts from a distingushed retired gentleman who volunteers as a tour guide at both the WWII National Museum and the French Quarter.

Ideal #38 from 1951 shows 5 grains of unique @ 1000 fps for a 25 yard small game load. Using 37583. Sure hope that helps.

I saw a very old box of Colt manufactured ammo about 25 years ago. It was labeled 45 LONG COLT on the box. I do believe Colt new the name of the product and knew what they were selling.

Thanks! I'll start low. I do not every recall coming across data quite like this. I called Sierra and they said Alliant 2400 is made at a different location and using different raw materials. Hopefully I can find a nice load that will work in more than one 357.

I see quite a difference in published loads in recent manuals using 158 grain jacketed bullets. Maximum charges from 13.8 to 15 grains and minimum from 9.3 to 14 grains. This puts the starting load over the max load. What are your thoughts

Mr. Gould's exellent designed bullet using XMP5744 out of a guide gun at close range makes quite a racket and large hole. That powder smells different also. The he(R)bivores will go nocturnal after that sound. Thanks Tycer!

Ladder 13, If you post some more info and a few good pics!! Many on this forum can give you a ballpark price for the area they live in. Without that info the prices go from next to worthless all the way to you need to get a letter and $$$$$$$. Else look at auction sites and see what one in your cond...

I was so elated when we were issued M240's (GPMG to those in the U.K.) in 1979. The M60 is a belt fed disposable in comparison. We would always test new MG's with Lake City ammo as it was the poorest quality. Unbelievable never ever even one jam.

Having had quite a few there is a tie for 1st place a 30 WCF and 38-55 nickel steel barrels both from 1895. 2nd place goes to the best trigger 2,700,1xx. If it letters and is pre 1898 buy them!

On that silly experimental tank the M60A2 It did have a manual overide crank so it was sort of a levergun. The M60A2 had a 156mm bore and could also fire a laser guided missile out of the cannon. 71 R75/5, 79 R100/7, 80 R100T Baskets. A 77 R100/7, 78 R100/7, 82 R65LS!!!, and a 82 R80 down Lousiana way. A 2007 Royal Enfield Iron head Bullet, and a 78 SOHC CB750K. In the daylight it looks like some road tar also between the fins. Wish I was 30 years younger.
