Re: Never mind

I'm out for awhile. tired of the negativity around here lately. j very sorry to hear that, sometimes we just need to enjoy each other's company, celebrate each others "likes" and keep our opinions to ourselves. By the way you made a great purchase there. I have two LEO buddies that carry the 92 off...

I love tinkering. But before you proceed, you might want to check out the S&W Forum, where it quickly becomes apparent that many of the "enhancements" offered can turn a perfectly good sow's ear in to not a silk purse but something that came out of a sow's rear-end. OUCH...unfortunately that can be...

I bought a Ruger Mark II Standard when I returned from working in Israel in 1983. Myself and two of my friends put 15,000 rnds through that pistol in two years. Then for some unknown reason I sold it. This year I finally replaced it with a Mark IV 22/45 Lite and just acquired a Standard receiver and...

I have hunted with my Marlin 1894C (1980 vintage) in .357-Mag. Used it deer hunting a couple of times but did not connect with a deer. I have shot 158 to 170 grain bullets in this rifle (all copper jacketed soft-point), very accurate. I have complete confidence in it's ability to take a deer at 100 ...

All I have ever hunted with is either a Winchester 94 Trapper, Marlin 336, and recently a Marlin 336Y (Marlin trapper) in .30 WCF. I really like the 30/30, I like how it shoots, like the fact that's it's a levergun. And yes I know I have to limit my range to 25 yards... :)

JohndeFresno -- your post is excellent.
