44 trappers
I had one - fed very well surprisingly enough - though I had a trapper in 357 and it was nothing but trouble - sold it right after they stopped production on the 94 and it sold so fast I wish I had a hundred of 'em. Friend of mine is a lion hunter in in Arizona, chases 'em with dogs year round and a...

Me too
I've tried 5 mini's over the years beginning with the one with a wooden cover over the barrel back around 1978? It didn't shoot well either. Then the last one couldn't keep up with my trigger finger and I has to do the plastic black rifle. I'd rather have my trusty 94 trapper with them new fangled p...

Get an old one
IMHO - get an older one, have it rebarreled to your favorite caliber. You'll spend as much as you would on a new rifle (when they make 'em again) and you'll get what you want.

It'll absolutly kill a whitetail
I've read story after story from gun scribes who believe 1000 ft lbs the minimum for deer - the 180 grain 357 is up to the task. It's no 150 yard rifle though. I'd use it in the limited sense - as leverguns put the hunt back in hunting.

Shuda kept 'em
This is easy - I should have kept the SEVEN 94 Winchester chambered in my favorite caliber - - 7-30 Waters. I've had two in the box and 5 others of which all were 24" barrel guns. Never understood why they made 20" guns - but none the less - sold 'em all at one time or another. Got a Dakot...

Correction
That would be "an impossible task" not tash - anyway - it's an awesome addition to any rear sight and doesn't get in the way like a receiver sight.

One Ragged Hole
Other than the cost being a little high - I'd recommend the sight with no hesitation. I installed one on my 94 Winchester Trapper - and no kidding, using Hornady's Levelution ammo - it's inside 6" at 200 yards each time. Great ammo but a nearly impossible tash without the One Ragged Hole aperat...
