Re: Loading data through the years
@Griff, I feel your pain. I bought a 5 gallon bucket of 38 Spl brass for $5 at a swap meet. I ended up with a Red Vines bucket of Peters Nickel LPP brass. They are set aside for BP CAS loads but haven’t been touched in years. As to the original thread, I see this too and thought that it was due to b...

Re: Fun at the range
I was out at our local Range today doing Damage Assessment as part of my Board duties. We got flooded out right before Christmas with plenty of damage. While there the Manager received a call to shut it down. Another Convergence Zone Storm hit and the access road was flooding.

Re: Win 1894
Is the firing pin or striker damaged .Check the protrusion of the tip. Might want to detail clean the passage in locking bolt the striker rides in. I’d also consider a Bolt tear down to clean the firing pin channel and inspect the Pin and any springs. Who knows what crud could be built up in there.

It might work with a straight wall though. IIRC, I ended up using a Fordem with a cut off wheel and made sure to cut a t...

Re: Musings from the Miller: Low count mags and butt cuff ammo
Back from a hiatus and throwing an odd one in here. My Hunting levers are both button mag. One is a '94 carbine and the other an '86 extra light. Now that is because I carry them a lot and shoot little plus I like the way they balance and swing. Of course there is a full box of ammo in the pack plus...

Re: OT - CA Fires & Midwest Floods
Dewight, We were chased out of the range yesterday by the Park Service, it was part of the mandatory evac. for the Venture (Ventura?) fire North of Cassel. It looks like the fire missed it, but 1 mile (+/-) is a bit close. Luckily we had all of the shooters out of there and it was just the clean-up ...
