The new Hornady flexible tip 338 caliber bullet can be used to reload 33 WCF cartridges. Will these reloads cycle through the magazine and chamber in an original 1895 Marlin? Being the proud owner of a 338 Marlin MX, which I love btw, I'll try to answer your question by saying maybe. The original 1...

The price you were quoted is more than fair imho. Buy it and don't look back. Those guns go on GunBroker for upwards of $1000 to $1500. If I remember correctly there were only 350 of those made.

I'm with Hoby on the pistol primers, trade'em. As for the powder, if you know the person who gave you the stuff (and trust him) then try some at the lowest level you can over a chrono . If not, please throw it out. A pound of powder versus a $500 + dollar gun, sorry but its not worth it in my eyes, ...

I have read that the expander in the Lee 32/20 die is .307 and if so that is why you get the bulge. I know that I get the bulge also but it hasn't caused a problem in my 32/20 CCL, it was a problem in my Ruger though, one chamber was tight. From what I've seen, in my Lee set, it is set up for the 1....
