Re: Winchester Ranger .22 Leveraction
I believe the receiver is milled aluminum and the metal is anodized receiver barrel. From what I can figure out Turkish walnut and made in Turkey. Now I wonder how accurate they will be. Wondering if a 22mag will follow?

I sold mine, never left levers just have to dust them off. I qualify with AR15 at work. I'm finding in my personal life I want the simplicity of the lever actions. They are so much fun!!

Went by my favorite sports store today. They had a Henry H0012 steal in 44mag. I looked it over and it was nice. I put it back on in the gun rack and left to think on it. I decided couple of hours later to go back to the store and buy it. Yep it was gone! Next one I will get! Lesson learned! Anyone ...

He is past the looking stage and needs our help! I would take the rifle apart and make sure its unloaded and then disassemble and clean it first. It just might be all gummed up.

I got my Medium loop lever front Ranger Point Precision. I installed it and what a difference it makes. The Trapper will eject dummy rounds and even with my hunting glove! Re: Large Loop for Winchester
I will try it first if it doesn't drop in it will go to a gunsmith that's for sure! I hoping that when it gets fitted in, the trapper will give me many more years of service and venison! I could find a used Marlin but a extra 100.00 to 150.00 for a medium lever. That would be 450.00 to 550.00 or Tak...

Re: Large Loop for Winchester
The rifleman uses a "wrangler" loop which is very large. Then their is what is called a "mule " which is smaller. This is the type I'm looking for. I believe the Marlin 336BL is this type of loop I've tried that and I like it, along with the Henrys large loop also. Some times peo...

I'm kicking around about getting a Large loop lever. I have a Winchester 1894 Trapper in 30-30 made in 1985-86. I haven't been able to find a replacement or substitue. The wrangler is way to big. I realy like the Henry size or one like Marlin in their BL. Any ideas I can check out or suggestions? Th...

Well they called and got one in. It has a 24 in octagon barrel and very good metal and wood finish. Has to go into lay-a-way , but that's OK I guess. They have a 20" one on order and will call when that one gets in and they will let me swap if I want the 20." Life is good.

Considering a 357Mag Rossi
I don't reload, so only factory ammo for this. I'm looking at a Rossi M92 with either 20 or 24 inch barrel. What loads are you using and kill range for dear size animals? I'm thinking 125yards max range and 158JSP. Why this the ares I'm hunting in are still rifle zones but its growing in population....
