Re: OT: First stupid human trick of the year

You know, you might not think it but that body armor in your avitar probably had a part to play in it. After all of the jumps I made, the road marches and the body armor, with plates, I wore nearly daily for a year and a half took a toll and weakend me. The slightest jar now or standing up or sittin...

I agree with OSOK on the Lee sizer and Liquid Alox. I would say go with the Lee double cavities to start with. I think they are more forgiving to a new caster. They make a 200 ( http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=789762 ) and two 250's that are great. http://www.midwayu...

Re: Ruger 22LR Single Action

The Single Six I have has been a dream gun, very accurate. The long rifle cylinder after 6 to 7 K rounds has opened the groups a bit. I prefer the magnum cylinder for taking grouse. No meat damage like a LR, just pencils through. This has been a great under study gun for my Blackhawk in 45C.

We cut our own meat so we always do steaks, roasts, jerky meat and hamburger. When we are feeling like bite size steaks we get a package of steak or roast out and cut them in to 1/2" or so thick, by whatever you feel like at the time. Sprinkle the meat on sides, each with garlic powder, Lawry's...
