Re: Lever gun for Moose/Elk
Go with the Marlin 338MX. I'll be trying for my third moose this year in Vermont and the 30-30 will probably see some action. I've already taken one bull with it.

Re: Marlin Is Polling For A New Levergun Chambering Preference
Not a real woods cartridge on the list. This is just more Remingtonizing of Marlin. I was hoping to see the .25-35, .32 Win Spl., .32-40, or the .38-55. With the choices they had listed I decided not to vote. I prefer leverguns over bolts for a reason and the chamberings are a big part of that.

Re: Bass Pro Rant - This letter went out mail and e-mail
I live halfway between Bass Pro and Cabelas. I go to Cabelas once a month and Bass Pro probably twice a year. After this thread I may not even go that much.

Re: Wolves Eating us out of Elk...
What do they (bureaucrats, politicians) stand to gain from running the good residents of Wyoming out and creating a "Buffalo Commons"? I've heard the proposal for an "American Serengeti" used by liberals and I can't see the reason behind this madness. I've been to Wyoming probably...

I like the Marble's full buckhorn. I'm not sure if they still make it.

Re: OT; Back from NH
I've never heard of a yurt before, interesting. I have shot a moose in NH and one in VT and i love it there. I try to get up a couple times a year.
