I will try and help. To me the 92 always felt like holding the wrong end of a baseball bat. And I don't have small hands. I owned one ever so briefly, handling the estate of a good friend (selling off the handguns anyway). It was his favorite pistol, which meant a lot to me. And I could have h...

I like it. Though why 30-06 is puzzling, unless they use them now in something else and have stocks of ammo already.
I guess if the stock were commercially available we'd have seen more of them by now, it's several years old now.

More than likely it's just a worn/poorly fit safety. The proper fix would be to build up weld, then reshape and fit. Keeping it as is. While the parts may not be "correct", they've probably been with the gun a long time. (unless they're shiny new.) :D For an every day modern shooter, you'd...

I bought a "higher end" Para last year and the small parts are fairly unimpressive MIM stuff. Some parts like the slide lock are pretty crudely finished for a gun that retailed for $1100-$1200. Everything else seems decent. There is a lot more up and down slide movement than I'd like, but ...

I was talking about the smaller tube dots. I've found the mini reflex sights not particularly snow friendly. I had a Tasco Optima on a 357/44 Bain and Davis Contender barrel and I seemed to always be trying to get snow out of it while hunting (if I left the cover off of course)

2x pistol scopes have always worked fine for me as scout scopes. Variables however don't, the eye relief doesn't work. The Fosters style slugs I played with were very undersized in the .380" neighborhood IIRC and around 90grs. They didn't shoot very well. (not from a levergun, but a Springfield M6). The Rottweil-Brenneke slugs, while I don't remember the numbers, were larger, heavier, of more stout construction...
