The answer is yes and no. There are two cannelures to help with neck tension, but you don't crimp into them. (of course you could with a single shot with a long throat). The bullet has a slight shoulder to crimp over as the others have said.

The rattle may be annoying, but it's not bad or abnormal. A little grease goes a long ways. #2 Check your base pin. It has a spring loaded tip that bears against the transfer bar. If it's binding (the transfer bar hitting the bottom of the firing pin on the way up) this spring/rod may not be working...

I've often speculated the LEE is to reloading, what CVA is to muzzle loading.

That they've probably introduced more people to the activity than anyone else. And that they've probably turned more people off to the activity than anyone else.

That and the fact that SOG was selling them as pre 1899 guns, sans FFL involvement, even though they were much newer guns.


FWIW.. my 577-450 load is 70grs by volume of APP and fill the case neck with Pufflon. It's a pussycat to shoot, and plenty good for my purposes.

It's just a Glock with a stock. While it's cool in a James Bond kind of way :roll: :lol:, a Glock without the stock is even smaller! :wink: (and cheaper)

I believe production was a but inconsistent. I have a 12ga slug gun, and it's rather nice for that. But in the world of single shot rifles it's on the low end. Everyone complained about the horrible triggers, but mine is kind of nice, which leads me to think the quality was all over. [/i]
