The "Safety" and "mag" ones always bugged me, since rifle has both a safety and a magazine, it seems to be written by a firearms neophyte. As does the description of recoil. :roll:

I've "re-chambered" two .45-70's to .45-90 with nothing more than a chamber reamer, a 1/2" ratchet extension and a 1/2" power drill (and cutting oil of course).

Don't see why you couldn't do 357 to .357 Max.

I would assume you have a stamped slide, but I've never been able to keep those dates a such straight. The most obvious tell tale sign is the pinned in breach block on the stamped slide. Also if you pull the slide back and look at the underside rear, the back end will be hollow on the stamped slide....

I would avoid the .25-35 at all costs. Big case head and lots of tapper. Both your worst enemy with a small, marginal strength action.

I HAD the information you need, as to what the Pedersoli rollers are rated for, but the file seems gone. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding it on Google, like I did a couple years ago.

Assuming it's 45-70, you can go above Trapdoor loads, but don't go crazy.

I'm not worried about "looks", it's a ugly duckling already. A cut at both ends beater. It won't see LOTS of use, just some occasional fun shooting. My main concern is strength/safety.
